Lam Ka-Tung graduated from TVB’s 15^th Artist Training Class in 1988，He began his acting career ever since then and it was until 1995 that he had became famous from the TV serial From Act To Act and also established as a leading role in Time Before Time， which was the highest rating serial in 1996.  His following works Once Upon A Time In Shanghai、Road To Eternity、A Measure Of Love、Plain Love II、Country Spirit also received high television ratings.  In both Plain Love II and Country Spirit which he played a countryside folk was recognized by local and overseas audiences.  Lam has participated in drama performance as well, such as Run for the wife and 才子亂點俏佳人.  Since 2001, Lam has fully concentrated in his movie career; his films include Dance of a Dream, Infernal Affairs, Infernal Affairs III, Jiang Hu, Yesterday Once More, A-1 Headline, A World Without Thieves, Bar Paradise, Election, The Sparrow, Wait ‘Til You’re Older, I’ll Call You, Election 2.
